Quetzal Jewelry Sneak Peek

When Ludwika contacted me about photographing her incredibly beautiful jewelry, I just knew I couldn't say no.  Quetzal necklaces are true statement pieces and make a great addition to any woman's wardrobe.  We wrapped the photo shoot a couple weeks ago, and I just wanted to give you a small taste of our session.

This lava (yes, LAVA!!) necklace had me swooning.  So much so, that my own necklace is due to arrive today!  Here it is worn by our beautiful model, Lindsay Kin, with many thanks to Kim Reyes for makeup, Dyan Zurick Smith for hair, and Moshe Zusman for the studio space.

MyDCStyle: Cocktail Attire 101

A couple nights ago my dear friend April of MyDCStyle hosted Part 2 of her "Women of Good Taste: Summer Style Series."  Working with some of the area's best boutiques, she showcased several different looks for all your summer soirees.  Hosted on the patio of W Hotel's J&G Steakhouse Wine Bar, the event was a  huge success thanks in part to these boutiques and designers: Urban Chic, Annalee's Special Occasions, and Zophia.

Stella & Dot provided the jewelry for the evening.

And there was a surprise appearance by Ashley Boalch - Miss DC!

The Dandelion Patch provided the fabulous "Swag Bags" for the evening.
